5.5 for the r , i have a gsr . are the pulleys and boost the same ? i would think with the higher compression in the r the boost would be tuned down .

The stock GSR is rated at 6psi. Perhaps you must tighten your SC belt a bit more. Do you have allready a larger exhaust and Header?

sc belt is torqued right. i do have the vac line to the gauge teed with the btc line . this may be bleeding some signal . the gauge may not be 100% accurate . i do have a comptech header and back cat exhaust . 1/2 a psi is neglegable , but some have said to expect 7 or 8psi with the stock setup .

Your elevation will affect the boost level. Do you live at sea level? That's where all the boost levels are rated. My "6 psi" Civic made 5.5psi at 5300ft. With the "8 psi" pulley, it made 6.75psi. I had it at sea level with the 8 psi pulley, and it did make 8 - it may be your elevation.

northern IL as with most of the midwest is at or close to sea level . with more observation now ive seen it peak 6psi , but 5.5 to just under 6 is where it stays for most of the power band . it seems to get a little perk while on the high cam . maby im wrong , but i tend to keep more attention on the road than on the gauges . is a little flux comon ?

I know you said you checked the belt, but I really think you need to triple check it then. You should be seeing 6-7 psi. Also remember that you have another belt to check. When I was having that problem I was stumped because my alt-sc belt was tight.. turns out it was the crank to alt that was alittle loose. Problem fixed.

i've had my charger on for a week and a half. the first couple days the boost gauge always read 7-8psi. now a week later, the boost gauge always read 7psi exactly, it will not go above 7. the belts are tight and everything is running great.
i'm assuming its due to the weather or whatever.
